The Path of Anu starts from the constellation of Pegasus, going through Andromeda, Perseus, Aries, Taurus, Orion, Gemini, Canis Minor, Monoceros, Hydra, Corvus, Virgo, Boötes, Libra, Ophiuchus, and finally, Aquila. These constellations would have been very easy to see from where the Babylonians had their empire on this Earth.
THE 23 STARS ON THE PATH OF ANU
The Great Square (ASH). IKU, Domicile of Ea, a god, which leads the stars of Anu, another god. This is the Great Square in the constellation of Pegasus.
The star at the Great Square: The Swan (shi-nu-nu-tum). This is actually the star Scheat, β (beta) Pegasi in the constellation of Pegasus.
The star behind the Great Square: Anunitum. This is the constellation of Andromeda. This is the constellation Andromeda (Andru-meita), daughter of Andru, Anu-nitum is Anu-meitene (daughter of Anu).
The star behind it: the agrarian worker (LU).CHUN.GA), Dumuzi, a god also known as Tammuz. This is the constellations of Perseus running into Aries.
The star cluster (MUL.MUL), the seven-fold deity, the great gods. The Pleiades star cluster in the constellation of Taurus.
The heavenly steer (GU4.AN.NA), the god of the (wooden)-tablet (GISH)Le, the Crown of Anu. This is the constellation of Taurus.
The Loyal Shepherd of Heaven (SIPA.ZI.AN.NA), Papsukkal, a god, and messenger of Anu and Ishtar, other gods. This is the constellation of Orion.
The Twins (MASH.TAB.BA) who are near the loyal shepherd of heaven: LU.LAL is the stars Castor, α (alpha) Geminorum and Pollux, β (beta) Geminorum, and the constellation of Gemini.

The Scales (ZI.BA.AN.NA), the “horn” of the scorpion. This is the constellation of Libra.
ZA.BA4.BA4, the Eagle TI8. (MUSHEN) and the Corpse (LU). USH. This is the two constellations of Aquila (eagle) and running into Ophiuchus (corpse).
Venus (DIL.BAD), changes its location continuously and crosses the heaven.
Mars (salbatanu), changes its location continuously and crosses the heaven.
Saturn (LU.BAD). SAG.USH, changes location continuously and crosses heaven.
Mercury (LU.BAD). GU4.UD, called MASH is visible before or after sunrise within any month and disappears within any month.
